SeaQ, a safety data collection tool created by PsyFyi, was crowned this year’s winner at the Splash-televised finals of the maritime pitch competition, The Captain’s Table, in one of the top events at the ongoing Hong Kong Maritime Week.
SeaQ is a data collection and reporting tool complied anonymously by seafarers and reported back to employers.
The British firm takes home a cash prize of $30,000 and various in-kind services worth an estimated $30,000.
Previous winners of the competition have gone on to massively scale up their business operations.
