Spain’s HAM Group continues to expand its network of LNG fueling stations for trucks with the opening of a new mobile station in Spain.

The new mobile station in Torre-serona, Lleida, is located on the A2 or Northeast highway, one of the main radial highways in Spain, with significant traffic from transport fleets traveling from Madrid to Barcelona, passing through Guadalajara, Zaragoza and Lerida, according to HAM.

The station, designed and manufactured by Vakuum, has a hose that allows refueling of LNG for trucks and heavy vehicles.

Prior to this station, HAM launched two new LNG fueling stations for trucks in Spain and one in Italy.

According to HAM, the firm has a network of more than 140 LNG and CNG stations, located on the main transport routes in Spain and the rest of Europe.

In addition, HAM Criogenica Peru, a unit of HAM, recently took delivery of its first LNG-powered trucks from Volvo Peru.

These are the first LNG tractors Volvo delivered on the South American continent, HAM claims.

The group is expanding its fleet of LNG-powered trucks in Spain, France, Italy, and Peru, reaching more than 100 Volvo HPDI units this coming year, it said.
